Sad news for Floyd Mayweather and his family. According to new reports, his ex, Josie Harris and mother of three of his kids has tragically passed away at the age of only 40!
The woman was found dead in Valencia, California last night, one rep confirmed via HollywoodLife.
The sad statement reads: ‘Unfortunately, the [police] report is true. We will truly miss Josie.’
Before this confirmation, the LA County’s Sheriff’s Department also reported via TMZ that ‘There is a death investigation, but there’s no name that the Sheriff’s Department needs to release at this time. On Tuesday, March 10, at approximately 10 pm, the Sheriff’s Department responded to a death investigation at 25700 Block of Oak Meadow Drive in Valencia, CA, and there was a female adult who was found deceased.’
As you might know, Josie was Floyd’s longtime partner and the mother of three of his children.
Unfortunately, however, their relationship was pretty toxic and even abusive!
After all, the man spent two months behind bars back in 2010 after a domestic violence incident.
At the time, he supposedly entered her house in Las Vegas and found her sleeping on the sofa in the living room, dragged her to the floor by her hair and beat her up in front of the young ones.
The oldest son, Koraun, managed to escape the house and tell a security guard which then called the police.
However, during an interview with Katie Couric, as per the Washington Post, Floyd denied the claims.
‘Did I kick, stomp and beat someone? No, that didn’t happen. I look in your face and say, ‘No, that didn’t happen.’ Did I restrain a woman that was on drugs? Yes, I did. So if they say that’s domestic violence, then, you know what? I’m guilty. I’m guilty of restraining someone,’ he argued.

Rest in peace, Josie.
